Taurus (タウロス, Taurosu^?), the Bull, is a sign of the Zodiac and a recurring symbol in the Final Fantasy series.

Taurus is one of the Stellazzio coins collected by Queen Stella. It is found behind the item shop in the slums area of Treno.

Final Fantasy XIEdit

The Taurus Subligar is one of the thirteen Zodiac subligaria, which can obtained from a Fomor Ninja in specific level-capped dungeons around Tavnazia. It is used to obtain the Nokizaru Gi, a uniform worn by Ninja.

Additionally, the Tauri are a race of demons distinguished by bull-like horns, and infamous for their Mortal Ray attack.

Final Fantasy XIIEdit

The Esper Chaos, aligned with the element of Wind, embodies the sign of Taurus. In the International version, the Taurus emblem is represented by the Uhlan Job. Taurus Gems are dropped by Bird-type enemies.

Final Fantasy TacticsEdit

Taurus is one of the twelve Zodiac Stones. It is originally in the hands of machinist Besrudio Bunansa, who had found the stone at an excavating site in the Clockwork City of Goug. Cardinal Alphonse Delacroix, being possessed by the Lucavi inside the Scorpio Stone and seeking to claim Taurus for himself, hires the Baert Trading Company to relieve Besrudio of the artefact. They have Besrudio in custody when his son, Mustadio, arrives with Ramza Beoulve and try to liberate him. Besrudio tells his son to look in a chimney, where a stone is found and exchanged for Besrudio's freedom. However, the stone was a fake, and Besrudio then gives Ramza the real Taurus Stone. Ludovich Baert then pays for the impostor's stone with his life.

Taurus is also a Zodiac sign used to determine damage compatibility between characters during battle. Taurus has optimal compatibility with Scorpio, good compatibility with Virgo and Capricorn, and bad compatibility with Aquarius and Leo.
