Final Fantasy Tactics[]
I know that there are weather conditions in Tactics that do affect the battlefield. I know when it's raining lighting have a 1.5X effect and fire .5X effect. I think there are others, but I'll double check before taking away the stub I put here. I'm pretty sure FFTA and FFTA2 don't have weather effects...but I could be wrong. Anyway, thanks for creating the page JC, and I'll try to double check in the next day or two for this.
not a problem. I removed the Ivalice Alliance part because I was waiting for someone more knowledgeable in that section to correct me on which game had weather effects.
Well, I've been playing with the weather effects and there's a lot more to it than I thought. I guess I'm asking what this article needs because there are a couple differnnt weather conditions, precentages for different maps of them occuring, and each condition changes if it's nighttime instead of the day. Also depending on the month, there are different percentages of the weather occuring. Some specific maps always have weather during a story battle and some maps never have weather during random encounters. I have all the data, but I'm trying to piece it together into a decent article with all the info that's readable and doesn't overdo everything with all the math and such. I'm looking at some tables to help, but anyway, I just wannted to let you know I hadn't forgotten about this.
Sounds amazing. The info on specific map weather conditions, could probably go into the actual location articles. And then it could be summarized here. Like all the FFXII location articles now have a mention on what possible weather you can have in each location. If it's a lot of work maybe somebody could help you.
Alright, I have the initial info and stuff in my sandbox and in a decent format. I know it still needs linked and possibly some updating since I got all the data and wrote it from the PS version, not the PSP version. If you have a minute to to check it out just for material/content and layout, I would appriciate it! Thanks!
FFXIV[]
Could this be its own article, looks like there is a lot there! Could be just Weather (Final Fantasy XIV) if it doesn't have a specific in-game term.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 19:45, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
