Just wanted to mention that hair does not grow after death, as claimed in this article: See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hair in the aging section.

- Man who the hell gives a shit? (BlueHighwind 18:26, 24 August 2007 (UTC))
[edit] Good Article
I was just browsing some articles and I think this one is really well done. Not really much of a point to this comment, just wanted to say I thought whoever is responsible for the majority of the content on this did a good job. I like how pictures of Vincent's Limit Breaks were included with the chart. --Oranejo 18:55, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

- Sephiroth's real father is Professor Hojo, it says it in the game. - Sencilia
- Besides, Cloud is a sepiroth COPY not a clone. The difference is that Cloud has the abilities but isn't an exact copy. If he was a clone he would also look exactly the same. - Kelis-the-Dragoon

| Cloud is not an real copy of Sephiroth, he is an boy very different than Sephiroth, the only thing Cloud has from sephiroth in part of his Genes, as an experiment of Hojo, he was experimented but, Cloud still different than Sephiroth, now Cloud has his genes that's all, but in reality Cloud was born in a natural way and not as an experiment as Sephiroth.

| Seeing as though lots of info was given during DOC, do you think a seperate page could be made on Chaos in Final Fantasy VII? It has a story & role in DOC, so it makes sense for him to have his own page rather than on the Disambig of Chaos there being no direct link to info on Chaos from VII. If people agree I will work at making the page soon.

[edit] Red Cloak as a Limit Break
Is the red cloak thing that Vincent does really considered a new limit break or form? I'm not certain it should be considered a new demonic form considering how unlike the others it is and the fact that Vincent apparently shoots out of it. I didn't get much of an impression that this was one of his monster forms, but rather just an ability he possesses that might be explained either through materia or just the general weird abilities Final Fantasy characters inexplicably possess. I'm not closed to the idea of it as a monster form, I just don't see convincing evidence that it is one.

| I didn't even know it was a form. I just thought the movie's makers did it for style. But, I'm not one to rock the boat on something I don't really care about. Who was the one who put that in? Maybe they can defend it. I'll give it two days, then I'll move it someplace else.

| I'd say it's a new form, as the red mist form is much larger than Vincent's cloak would allow, it can fly, and there are no indications of limbs in it.

| Would you guys consider Vincent briefly appearing in Crisis Core, even though, he was never (literally) seen? Because, there was a side mission wherein you had to look for a mystery in Nibelheim. Apparently Zack opened his coffin and saw Vincent sleeping. He then closed the coffin and paid his respect. Kinda lulzy if you think about it.

| Technically, you can just stumble across him without doing the mystery sidequest as long as you get some coffin keys. Also, because he can be found at the same place and in the same state, we can safely assume that is is indeed him, so yes, he does appear in it. Wasn't most of this in the article already?

| By the end of Dirge of Cerberus, is he still immortal? Even with Chaos gone?
Also, why do we say he has an "extended" life? If he is still indeed immortal, it wouldn't be extended. It would be never-ending.

| I'd stick with 'extended' simply because there is no evidence to support either side. All that's stated is that he looks pretty much the same (age-wise at least) as he did 30 years prior, when he was 20. It's never stated that he doesn't age, but it also isn't stated that it he doesn't age very slowly. For all we know, his body may be frozen in time while his brain ages and eventually putts out at 90-something years old, ending up with a completely regular lifespan, just a very young body.
In short, I'd say stick with saying 'extended', but I'm not going to argue over it if somebody changes it.

I'd have to disagree with him being immortal because that would mean he was un-killable too! I'd have to agree with above and say that it was just extended.
Immortals are not unkillable. They simply can not die from natural causes. For example- (as Vincent is somewhat similar to them) Vampires are immortal (in legend of course), however you can kill them by shoving a stake through their heart, holy water, cross, etc. Also, the Greek Gods were killable (if you would like to argue against vampires being immortal, and once again in legend) by certain means.
[edit] Immortality How it Happend
How Did Vincent become immortal in the first place and as said at the top which led me to confusion first of hair doesn't grow after death did Vincent die and come back to life?!?!
Truly this man really is mysterios i barely know a thing about him
Not much is known about Vincents Hibernation but he didn't die and come back to life. Even in the Final Fantasy VII universe, that is impossible. Also, Vincent isn't immortal, if that were true, there would be no need for any other characters. The only special thing about Vincent is that that he has an extended life span and, of course, he has choas inside of him. - Kelis-The-Dragoon
As I said above- "Immortals are not unkillable. [edit] Vincents Age.
Okay vincent's year of birth is compleeeeetely wrong.
His year of birth is 1950 not 1956. He was shot and put in the coffin when he was 27.
Sephiroth was born around that time (1977). Vincent would be 21 if he was born 1956 and put in the coffin in 1977.
If you add 6 to 21 it's 27. if you subtract 6 years from 1956. you get 1950, his year of birth.
(1950-3 months old)
(1951-1 Yr old)
(1952-2 yrs old)
(1953-3 yrs old)
(1954-4 yrs old)
(1955-5 yrs old)
(1956-6 yrs old)
(1957-7 yrs old)
(1957-8 yrs old)
(1958-8 yrs old)
(1959-9 yrs old)
(1960-10 yrs old)
(1961-11 yrs old)
(1962-12 yrs old)
(1963-13 yrs old)
(1964-14 yrs old)
(1965-15 yrs old)
(1966-16 yrs old)
(1967-17 yrs old)
(1968-18 yrs old)
(1969-19 yrs old)
(1970-20 yrs old)
(1971-21 yrs old)
(1972-22 yrs old)
(1973-23 yrs old)
(1974-24 yrs old)
(1975-25 yrs old)
(1976-26 yrs old)
(1977-27 yrs old). :DD
....
(2009 (ff7 Advent Children)-59 yrs old)
(2010 (Dirge of Cerberus)-60 yrs old)
===>*Now in FF7 its been 30 yrs since he's been in the coffin. (how did he sleep in there for 30 years without peeing or eating. :O)
27+30= 57*
===>*In ff7 advent children it's been 2 yrs since the events in the game:
57+2=59*
===>*In Dirge Of Cerberus, one year has passed after the event's in ff7 advent children:
59+1=60*
His final age is 60 though physically he's 27. :D
Thus he was born on October 13th 1950.
(is lame because she actually spent 15 minutes doing the math. xD)
