[edit] Specialty
sorry to bother the editors with such a small thing but I can't find any mention of what each turk brings into battle in ffvii ,other then elena and vincent (the she uses projecttiles and he was a gunner part). I know this is kind of silly for me to start a discussion about because it can easily be added and it can be sumed up preety easily... rude=hand to hand, reno=magic ect.

| —W/B Cissnei should have her own section rather than being listed with the BC turks, as her separate role is probably bigger than the other Turks. I don't want to write it myself as I am not self-confident in my writing. Oh, and I never played BC or completed CC. Though I'd usually steal from her page, it's easier to write if you have the knowledge already.

What happened to Cissnei anyway? As a BC Turk, I fear that Tseng assassinated her, but she was a fully operational member of the Turks at the end of CC, mere hours/days before the beginning of VII, presumably after the other Turks were pew-pewed, as we do not see them at the time, and Tseng did seem to care about her more than some nameless goon. And we never do find out her real name. And what did she mean by the statement that she was already "part of the family"? Please don't tell me she was Zack's long-lost sister or something - that would make things really awkward.
The Man In The Black Cape 18:36, 6 April 2009 (UTC) - No Cloud nor Squall shall hinder me
She didn't say she was part of the family zack said "They* will probably ask you to join the family" and Cissnei replied "Already happened", she was asked to join, thats all. Also none of those turks were assassinated, tseng claimed to the president that he assassinated them, but all of them went into hiding after the event
- they refers to his parents
[edit] 'Turks' in Banora.
If someone insists on claiming that the suits sent in Banora were Turks, they're going to have to back it up with some facts. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and since the Ultimanias have the Turks all named and accounted for, that's one strike against that theory. --Doop. 16:42, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
- Side note: I don't see how that's particularly "extraordinary", in fact this is rather run-of-the-mill hair splitting. On topic: They are never called "Turks", but clearly wear the Turk uniforms. However Lazard mentions that he sent them, making it weird. What other "agents" do Shinra have? --BlueHighwind ツ 22:08, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
They look like run of the mill Shinra employee uniforms to me, which leads me to think they were Shinra employees.Doop. 22:30, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
- What other nonmajor Shinra employees do we see that wear suits that could have possibly sent on that type of a mission? - +DeadlySlashSword+ 00:13, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

| I find it reasonable to include this speculation. There's certainly more unreasonable stuff on this wiki, and anyone familiar with FFVII would assume such suits were Turks. I do not want to see more of an edit war.
Thank you.

| Ah, I know what we're talking about now. Yes, they were most likely Turks. The fact is that they were on an investigation mission, and the Ultimanias probably DO NOT have all of the Turks accounted for. It sounds like a fairly large organization (smaller than SOLDIER or the army, but still...), and it's implied that there are a lot of nameless sort of Turks-in-waiting, or even not-so-special operative Turks. Besides that, the ultimanias are adding new information all the time. The VII/AC one didn't say anything about Chaos, Omega, the numerous Turks in BC, Genesis, Jade Weapon, Angeal, etc.

There really is hardly any information at all to say they're Turks. Lazard calls them staff. Staff, period. We know for a fact that only Verdot would have authority to dispatch Turks on missions during that time, not the head of the SOLDIER department. Why would Lazard have authority to send Turks to Banora? They were Shinra staff sent to investigate. Not Turks. Lazard says so himself in Crisis Core, and Tseng doesn't even refer to them as comrades. Saying they are Turks is a leap in logic based on very weak, subjective evidence. All Shinra staff that wear suits, are not Turks.66.76.60.163 02:20, 14 March 2009 (UTC)Makoeyes

| Perhaps you should re-examine the evidence. Turks are staff. They are not mutually exclusive, so Lazard does NOT "say so himself." And what's your point about Tseng? He called them "our people." Did he mean Shinra's, or the Turks? Would it matter? They're his comrades, either way, unless he's known to only call other Turks comrades, which is something that I've never heard about him before. Banora is known for its freaky science experiments, and as the home of Genesis and Angeal. The only other staff they would conceivably send are scientists, who are typically shown wearing lab coats. It's actually a greater leap of logic based on weaker evidence to assume that they AREN'T Turks. Occam's Razor, and all. Unless, of course, you have more evidence to give? For that matter, did Lazard even send them? Hmm...I'll try to find a game script.
