Terra's Crystal Edit

Terra when she obtain the crystal, she says that it's her "power" or something like that. Since that's magicite (i think) it can be the magicite from her esper side, or something like that? - 22:06, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

The whole theme of the game is that each crystal is a part of that person's power. For example, Squall's crystal appears once he learns the importance of friendship and teamwork. Diablocon 22:10, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
Eww, Diablo. Just eww. --BlueHighwind 23:16, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
What? Diablocon 23:22, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
Learning "the importance of friendship and teamwork". That's disgusting. --BlueHighwind 23:23, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
I'd say that the Magicite is probably meant to represent Maduin, since it's contacting his spirit and remembering her past that allows Terra to gain control over her powers. Drake Clawfang 06:33, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Don't worry, Blue. It's not nearly as cheesy as Diablo makes it sound. Even if it were, don't you hate 8 badly enough anyway? :P Dazuro 06:47, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Looking at the design on the Magicite, I'd almost venture a guess that the Magicite was that of Valigarmanda/Trioch. It's one of the more important Espers in the game, and you can get it's Magicite from it after defeating it as a boss.

I doubt it's a reference to any magicite other than Maduin, if it is meant to represent any esper. Like Cloud's Materia, I think this Magicite is representative of the concept as a whole. - Henryacores^ 18:49, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
I think it would be Maduin if it's any Esper, mostly due to its connection to Terra and how she says "this is my power?". But yeah, Henry pretty much says it. Drake Clawfang 19:52, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
I think that the Magicite is her power, her exact Magicite, as what I understood from what she said... Devil Breaker 12:55, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
It's physically impossible for it to be her Magicite. Drake Clawfang 16:04, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
Yeah. Espers die and become Magicite, which contains their full power. Terra is alive and well until the ending. - 18:13, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

I think the magicite is Valigarmanda. Think about it, the design is a vague apperance of it and it was the esper that originally unlocked Terra's Trance ability. Mysidian Nomad 03:23, January 28, 2010 (UTC)

Have you not played Final Fantasy VI? It was Ramuh who had done that. SSFF6B 23:36, January 28, 2010 (UTC)

Valigarmanda was the one that unlocked it. All Ramuh did was help calm Terra down so she can control it. My gil's still on Maduin being the most relevant candidate... but with magicite, who can tell? - File:FFIII-nes-sage.gif Saethori (T / C) - 07:40, January 29, 2010 (UTC)

Wait I take it back, Maduin did do that. SSFF6B 22:43, January 29, 2010 (UTC)

Wendee Lee?!?! Edit

Someone put information about Terra's English voice being Wendee Lee. I think it's false info, but what if it isn't? Werehog22 11:55 PM 6/6/2009 (UTC)

Not the only oneEdit

Terra's not the only one. Shantotto also receives praise, but it's more genuine than what Terra gets. Kaihedgie 15:05, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

about the ending Edit

just curious, what's in terra's hand in the ending? snow? if it is, isn't it a reference to the mining town of narshe in the beginning of VI?

Pretty much the case.

I thought it was a dandelion... Supposedly her favorite flower (based on her conversation with Cloud in Destiny Odyssey VI). But, then again there's no indication of that being her favorite flower anytime before, so I don't know. (Mynameissora 09:58, March 14, 2010 (UTC))

Pictures Edit

Story section has... six pictures! And the complete article has 11 pictures. Is it neccesary?

i agree, you dont need 2 pictures of her doing the same thing (i.e holding her crystal) 17:44, November 6, 2009 (UTC)

Teleport Kefka and Onion Knight. Edit

Didn't Onion Knight teleport Kefka instead of Kefka teleporting Onion Knight? because right when Kefka casts Ultima for the second time, he says, "what are you doing--" and then they vanished. Then Kefka does his I hate hate hate 25x you thing right at Onion Knight, therefore signifying OK teleported Kefka, a direct allusion to Celes teleporting Kefka at FFVI. I think Onion Knight did it to keep Terra from knowing what happened when she gone Berserk, much like Celes did to prove that she changed for the Returners. DB36 05:39, September 13, 2009 (UTC)

Except that they vanish as Kefka attacks, and he finishes the sentence as they vanish too. I think what he meant is that OK attacked him while he was playing his mind games with Terra and gave her a chance to escape. Also notice they're in the World of Darkness when they speak afterwards. This is where CoD took Terra in OK's storyline, so it makes sense Kefka would take OK there. Drake Clawfang 05:42, September 13, 2009 (UTC)

Dissidia GuideEdit

The entry for Terra in the BradyGames guide, Destiny Odyssey VI, has Bartz's Crystal shown in the title for it except for Terra's Crystal and no one else has that error. Does this have any value as trivia?? User:Leiber Mage 23:07, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

No because the whole guide is screwy. Also Destiny Odyssey I has Squall's Crystal, Destiny Odyssey III has Firion's Crystal.  NeoZEROX Dissicon ff6 Ter4 23:07, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

Seriously? WOW XD I haven't read the whole thing so I haven't noticed that, I just thought it was really screwed up User:Leiber Mage 23:07, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, they also screwed up on the profile pages for Sephiroth, Squall, and Tidus, by repeating pictures and having weird fuzzy artifacts on Brotherhood and stuff. Dazuro 23:12, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

Ultima Edit

Doesn't Ultima have an Absorb effect? I've seen vids where the opponent is drawn into the center of the orb while initially outside its range. Drake Clawfang 07:02, November 28, 2009 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure it does. A couple times when I've been playing, they slipped away but they were pulled back. Naruto195 07:08, November 28, 2009 (UTC)

Meltdown Edit

I can't fix this myself because the article's been locked for some odd reason, but the current description of Meltdown has the EX Mode version wrong. it says that the second fireball is always 3rd form, with no charge time. But you can actually choose which form the second fireball is. If you push toward the enemy, it's the first form. If you push away, it's the second form, and it's the third form if you don't input one of those directions. I wish I dould unlock the article to make that correction, but there it is.

It's locked because Terra's page is most subject to vandalism, so only registered users can edit it. Feel free to register and do it. I'd do it now, but I'm so tired that what I read of your explanation did not process in my brain at all. :P JohnnyC
But I'm registered, and I can't change it. :( Mynameissora

Firaga Edit

I'm pretty sure Firaga is Brave to HP attack for her Fire Brave attack, it look like she use Fire then she use Firaga afterwards, am I right? NeoZEROX 08:26, September 18, 2010 (UTC)

Faction in 012Edit

For awhile it was written on her page that her faction in Dissidia 012 was unknown due to a possible slave crown, now there is no info on her being on any particular side in 012, does this mean she has been confirmed as Cosmos or did someone take it down because it was just speculation?SandS Hero 23:34, November 6, 2010 (UTC)

[1] seems to imply she's on Chaos' side (Note her blue background, same as the other Warriors of Chaos). Intercision 18:45, November 28, 2010 (UTC)

Smiling? Edit

I don't know if it's just my mind messing with me, but I swear that on Terra's page on the Dissidia 012 site, the background image shows Terra smiling?! What? *mind blown*. Jeffrey or SSFF6B 00:48, November 23, 2010 (UTC)

Not to sound rude or anything, but I can't think of any other way of wording this, so: Why is this significant? Likeacupcake 00:52, November 23, 2010 (UTC)

I don't know, but I was just wondering if somebody else noticed it. Jeffrey or SSFF6B 01:13, November 23, 2010 (UTC)

Terra's earlier artwork... Edit

ok...i have an image of terra's earlier artwork, there is a file with only her face in her page...i tried to upload it but it was deleted for "copyright violation" can we upload pictures without violating copyright? i added the line "SECopyright" and "generic fair use" (don't know if it's right...but was deleted again...and that's not a can i add the picture to terra's page?? can i add copiright??

Because it isn't an "early art" of Terra, it's fanart, the only image released of her prior to her official art is the one on the page now, her portrait, and according to Ultimania the face is the only aspect of her design that was changed before her full art was released. DoreikuKuroofangu 00:20, March 15, 2011 (UTC)

Her eyes when enslaved... Edit

This is probably really small trivia, but has anyone else noticed that in 012 that her eyes change? When she's talking with Kefka and on her early association with Vaan her eyes were opaque navy blue but when she stays with Vaan longer her pupil actually shows up and her eyes look normal. Does that signify that the Slave Crown's power is weakening? And her eyes did that too in Dissidia when the Cloud of Darkness tried to control her and she fought against Onion Knight. Or does it mean that whenever someone tries to take control of her she's not in her right mind? --Marael 14:53, April 8, 2011 (UTC)  Armageddon11! Dissicon ff12 Gab2 14:56, April 8, 2011 (UTC)

Deleted Edit

I deleted the part in the trivia: "As of Dissidia 012, Terra is one of two characters ever to be Warriors of Cosmos who can glide, Yuna being the other." Yuna can't glide Alexkon33 08:01, April 9, 2011 (UTC)

Uh, yeah she does. You notice it going up walls. -- Lycentia Stuffcocoa 22:10, April 8, 2011 (UTC)
That really shouldn't be called gliding. Y'know, due to confusion with the actual Glide ability -- Sorceror Nobody Flan 22:36, April 8, 2011 (UTC)

Terra's Crystal....12th to 13th, how??? Edit

Having now played Dissidia 012, and beating Vaan's storyline from the 12th cycle plus Terra's chapter from the 13th cycle, I really have to wonder; HOW exactly did Terra receive a crystal? There are a total of 5 crystals not accounted for, and 2 most likely transferred to their same-game replacement. The power that would crystallize into crystals belonging to WoL, Firion, Onion Knight, Cecil, Bartz, Squall, & Zidane simply transferred over to the next cycle thanks to Kain's assasinations. It can be guessed that Tifa's would-be crystal transferred to Cloud, and Jecht's (or Yuna's) transferred to Tidus. That leaves the whereabouts of Kain's, Laguna's, Yuna/Jecht's, Vaan's, & Lightning's crystals unknown. Whether Shantotto or Prishe were blessed with Cosmos' powers or not is up for debate, but the big question remains; From where did Terra receive the power to manifest a crystal? Red-Winged Angel 00:05, April 22, 2011 (UTC)

Or Cosmos gave them the same power during the 13th cycle or during their purification. The energy didn't have to be transferred. Jimcloud 00:21, April 22, 2011 (UTC)
Well, remember also that Jecht's energy and forming crystal was harnessed by the Emperor at the end of the 12th/beginning of the 13th cycle in order to make a "dark crystal," although it was a plan that wasn't entirely successful. -Demitel 00:05, June 3, 2011 (UTC)

Can someone point out where in the opening scene (both games) does Terra use a barrier? Thank you!
