Why are these changes being undone? Did you forget about these guys?
The Sephiroth-clones are different from these guys. | |||
Ahh - obviously I was making repeated changes on both the article and the talk page before realizing someone had edited behind me. Hope I didn't frustrate you much. TattoodManNo7 02:46, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
Origin?[]
"Formed when Sephiroth's will refused to be absorbed into the Lifestream..." Can anyone prove this? Armored Cavalry 20:32, April 2, 2010 (UTC)
- It is stated outright the Remnants are fragments of Sephiroth formed because he wasn't absorbed... Doreiku Kuroofangu 21:28, April 2, 2010 (UTC)

Oniisan[]
Why do the three remnants all call Cloud "big brother"? If they were remnants of Sephiroth, they are the manifestation of a guy older both physically and mentally than Cloud.
- While they may be remnants of Sephiroth they also have their own consciousness and individuality. (You can tell since they have no actual idea WHY they're searching for Jenova's cells, they are merely acting upon Sephiroth's will). They consider themselves Jenova's children (hence why they constantly refer to her as mother), and they see Cloud as a big brother mainly because he received Jenova's cells far earlier than anyone else has.

Is Remnants of Sephiroth an official term or should it have the Nameless tag?Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 14:40, September 8, 2012 (UTC)
- "Kadaj is a Remnant of Sephiroth. Think of him as a sort of larval form." Listen to Vincent, son. The Japanese term translates to something like "spirit-bodies," but obviously, the English localization doesn't use that.Neo Bahamut (talk) 19:01, September 8, 2012 (UTC)
- I recall reading somewhere the Japanese term used for them is the same one used for the Unsent, but I'd have to dig up a source because I'm not sure where I heard that. Doreiku Kuroofangu 19:02, September 8, 2012 (UTC)
- It would be cool to get it for the nihongo.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 22:49, September 8, 2012 (UTC)

What is the source for the statement that they represent the different factors of Sephiroth such as Loz representing Sephiroth's strength and speed?——Preceding unsigned comment was added by 104.159.151.105 (talk • contribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~.
The information was taken from the "Final Fantasy Advent Children - Reunion Files -" artbook. As far as I know, it's only available in Japanese, but fan translations can be found on the Internet. I have a copy of the translated artbook. The information you're asking for in particular can be found on pg. 27 of the artbook. Here's the quote from Tetsuya Nomura said about the remnants: "Each of these three man represent an aspect of Sephiroth's character. Loz has his outer masculinity, Yazoo has an alluring appeal, and Kadaj portrays cruel side." A little more information in regards to their characters can be found on other pages.--NinjaSheik 23:52, January 15, 2018 (UTC)
The names.[]
I've been wondering if Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo's weird names are not random for the sake of it. Could K.L.Y. be an allusion to Qliphoth? It kinda sounds similar and is thematically consistent with Sephiroth's name origin.
