The Old status appears in FFXIV too, although it works in a different way and I don't know if it's called Old in japanese. The second boss of the Shisui of the Violet Tides dungeon, the Ruby Princess, has an ability called Seduce which can charm the whole party. To prevent getting charmed, when the Ruby Princess starts casting Seduce players must get close to one of the boxes in the arena to get the Old debuff, which turns the character in a cloaked figure with a cane, lowers movement speed and disables all skills, but also makes them immune to charm. The debuff is removed automatically after a few seconds.
