Talk - Little kiddies writing video game walkthroughs have the nerve to tell me to get a life?
Yes, I switched all of the br tags to br / tags. No, it wasn't necessary (not yet, at least), but the web designer in me loathes seeing deprecated tags.
It did have a point, though, in that the br (sans the /) is deprecated by the W3C (the standards body who govern how HTML, XHTML and CSS markup work) and modern browsers are under no obligation to recognize the tag without the / mark.
Most still do, because of the number of sites who are not up-to-date, but as long as we're able, we may as well keep the tags we use modern and correct, so when the time /does/ come, we won't be running around with thousands of screwy pages because of unsupported tags.
Crazyswordsman - Final Fantasy VI, because Drake says he wants to link to FF7 every day, which is bad because that game is so far inferior to FF6. TALK- 01:11, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
You go right ahead. We don't care. But don't expect us to follow suit.
