Splitting[]
I am assuming that these pages will be split appropriately, yes? Though will we be splitting them just by taking the tables and moving them? Or will we be doing as is done on the Black Magic page (though not all segmented as it is)? (I'm looking at you Kelt! I know you've been doing these lately so I'll probably leave this one up to you too!).
I haven't played FFIII. But they should be split by the command that uses the spell.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 10:31, December 1, 2014 (UTC)
Hmm...for now, probably best to just copy/paste the tables onto pages I guess, and save what's on the Black Magic page into a sandbox for later I suppose.
What command does a Red Mage/Sage (etc?) get? Both Black and White?Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 10:35, December 1, 2014 (UTC)
Aye. There's only these three commands for Magic, nothing more. If they have access to more than one of the commands, then it'd be that command instead. Actually, I don't remember if it's specifically CALLED Black/White/Summon Magic. It might actually just be Magic in general...can anyone confirm this?
Split[]
I guess this needs splitting into ability pages for each skillset, right?-- Technobliterator TC 17:36, January 6, 2015 (UTC)
Okay, I'm confused. On the one hand, we have this page. On the other hand, we have Black Magic (Final Fantasy III). But the Black Magic article says we should have something called "Magic (Final Fantasy III)". So...what the heck are we doing?-- Technobliterator TC 17:32, February 9, 2015 (UTC)
- Xeno's post above suggests there is just a Magic command, just different mage classes have different stuff in it?Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 17:37, February 9, 2015 (UTC)
- Right, okay. So we need to merge them all into one Magic page somehow?-- Technobliterator TC 17:45, February 9, 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah like Magic (Final Fantasy VII) or Magic (Final Fantasy VIII). Material from here could be repurposed as Magic page.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 19:25, February 9, 2015 (UTC)
- Okay, if someone else can confirm that this is exactly how we want to do it, I'll move.-- Technobliterator TC 23:59, February 18, 2015 (UTC)
- It's exactly how Magic (Final Fantasy) does it. Red Mages who employ a bit of both are in III too. JBed (talk) 03:08, February 19, 2015 (UTC)

Split and name "Magic (Final Fantasy III)". While there are clear-cut White/Black/Summon Magic spells, there is no specific "White Magic/Black Magic/Summon" command, just "Magic". If you really want to split it up further, just make Magic (Final Fantasy III) a parent, and then for subpages, go like..."Magic (Final Fantasy III)/White Magic" or something I guess??
Alright, sweet. Sounds like I can just move it to "Magic (Final Fantasy III)"?
Yes. Again, if you really want to be picky, since there are spells that fall into categories, you can still probably subpage them to that and make that the parent article. I do not know if Songs or Terrain abilities would fit here either since they are technically spells but...they're their own commands too.
