Other areas[]

I'm playing though the PC version and I noticed that NPCs are frequently dropping names for various geographical formations like mountains and such. Should we include them on this page like we have with FFVIII and FFIX location pages?—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 11:04, June 26, 2017 (UTC)

Yes we should. They are locations after all. Fenrir9 (talk) 12:51, June 26, 2017 (UTC)
Okay, I'll try find as many names as I can find. If someone can provide at least a least of places mentioned before the initial events in Tokkul it'd be appreciated.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 13:11, June 26, 2017 (UTC)

The Floating Continent[]

The game never states Xande created the Floating Continent, and after playing loads, everything seems to suggest he did not. The Floating Continent existed before Xande's tantrum, it was created by the Ancients. The Flood of Light happens after this, and the events concerning Xande happen after the Flood of Light.

In the NES version Owen floats the continent. In DS it's Xande. JBed (talk) 16:56, May 17, 2020 (UTC)
That sure is interesting. But it's still Owen's Tower that keeps it afloat? Did he build the tower after the Flood of Light, then?Thirteen1355 (talk) 12:33, May 26, 2020 (UTC)
Yeah, the Tower of Owen is built to control the floating continent in DS. Presumably the flood of light happened over a thousand years ago. About a thousand years ago Xande separates the floating continent at I guess roughly the same time as setting off the flood of darkness. Owen then built the tower shortly after to control it.
