Is there any canon information on why Irvine ended up in Galbadia Garden instead of Balamb?
- It was so that a hunter (Irvine's Job Class if there ever was one) could meet up with the party right at the time they needed a gunman. Crazyswordsman 04:16, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
- My guess is that the writers needed a member who didn't use GFs. There's no reason besides that, I imagine. While on the subject, Galbadia Garden does not train SeeDs. SeeD is specifically labeled as Balamb Garden's elite mercenary force, not Garden in general. Galbadia Garden's students more than likely become Galbadian soldiers.
