I thought disambigs would only have "Whatever may refer to:" in the introductory text. Why does this one have special treatment? I fix it? >:3
Because it would be idiotic to not point out what the introduction says.
Ah! Again, my presence revolutionizes the Wiki, even if for a tiny portion! >:3
Ah, Blue, you never fail to amuse me. Welcome back, AJD. Been a while.
| |||
Ah. the stalker >;3 Salutations.
And you haven't changed a bit. I must admit, despite our past hostility I'm actually happy to see you. It's been a little boring about here lately, Blue's little snit is the most entertained I've been since Faethin's "KainHighwind Facts" forum.

I do believe the feeling is mutual. However, now that I see the boss admin reverts this "disambig-turned-article", I am more the merrier, for what I aim is fulfilled >;3
The Highwind[]
Merge and redirect? Two of its links are already here anyway, one of which is this page. Doreiku Kuroofangu 01:17, August 4, 2012 (UTC)

We need Kimahri's spear, and images of some sort for FF14 and Tactics. Not sure if Type-0 allows weapons to be visible in battle when equipped, if so we need that too. Doreiku Kuroofangu 05:31, April 14, 2013 (UTC)
Split[]
The weapon has more than enough appearances to have its own article, ability might too (VII, XIII, FFAB). So split them into their own pages, rename this to Highwind (Term).
Yeah, sure. We should do that. I can get the bot to do the relinking business.
Fang's Highwind in FFXIII is not the same ability as Cid's Highwind from FFVII.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 09:39, March 12, 2015 (UTC)
This page exists because "Highwind" is a recurring term agnostic of implementation. If you want to argue that the weapon or ability should be their own page; well firstly it would probably be a child of this article since it's an off-shoot of the term, so we don't need to move "Highwind".
The other thing you need is does it ever make sense to say "the Highwind weapon" or "the Highwind ability" in an article (besides this one) and genuinely refer to the weapon/ability agnostic of a specific appearance? When I say "the Blood Sword weapon" I can genuinely say I am referring to a recurring weapon (indeed, a sword that drains HP) and not one a specific instance of the weapon.
I'll give you that there are arguments to be made for both the weapon and the ability, although what they really come down to is a use of the term "Highwind" in relation to Dragoons. Which makes this article alone perfect to explain them in. JBed (talk) 17:37, March 16, 2015 (UTC)
