Which Version?[]

Fix of "I'm gonna be a blitzball when I grow up!" child non-player character in Kilika to "I'm gonna be a blitzball player when I grow up!" in all versions. This wasn't fix, at least for the North American version with English audio (Limited Edition) that I'm playing. Is this the same for all the other English version? Talk to the kid running around inside Kilika inn three times in a row, says "I'm gonna be a blitzball when I grow up!". Fenrir9 (talk) 21:13, March 18, 2014 (UTC)

Oh. Apparently the English version isn't a translation error. The error originates in the Japanese. So in Japanese he says something like "when i grow up i want to be a blitzball", and for the HD re-release they fixed it so the Japanese says something like "when i grow up i want to be a blitzball player". They fixed the Japanese, but not the English. JBed (talk) 22:19, March 18, 2014 (UTC)
I played the normal NA English version (not Remastered) and I'm almost positive he says that in my game. I remember since it was kinda funny :p --Shockstorm 21:24, March 18, 2014 (UTC)

Additional Save Sphere locations? Where does this come from?[]

(Reply) Have numerous sources (but haven't seen) no Save Sphere in Monster Arena in original JP PS2 version.

Have sources stating there's no Save Sphere in Dream Zanarkand in original JP version, seems to be false.

Are there different disc releases of the original JP version that could've patched it in? That'd make it really hard to solidly check.

Original post was concerning Save Spheres added in PS4 version, which I have no sources for and seems to not be the case. Removing entry, readd specific locations if it's actually correct. Gewath (talk) 11:10, July 6, 2017 (UTC)

That's true. I meant, are there separate versions that were released in Japan before the International was released? It happens for some games and since there's contradictory information on the Dream Zanarkand save sphere, it could explain it. For instance, the version that was released in NA could have had differences that were first added to a minor re-release in Japan, but that wasn't significant enough of a release to actually be documented.Gewath (talk) 19:06, July 7, 2017 (UTC)

Seymour's grunts[]

Not sure what causes this, but in the Seymour fights he seem to make different noises when he takes damage in various versions of the game. For instance, this is Flux in the Original (3:38), International + Remaster (5:02), and Steam (15:42). Theroux (talk) 12:50, February 26, 2020 (UTC)
