[edit] Making a Archive

TenzaZangetsu 11,532 1 June 2009(UTC)  -   "Should I give you Despair?":
The talk page of this article was way too long so I make a Archive for it, no problem?
Diablocon - No, the question is; who art thou, ham planks? Shanks! I meant shanks
TALK - 22:22, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
No probs.

Any news on when this is getting released on the European WiiWare channel?

TenzaZangetsu 11,532 1 June 2009(UTC)  -   "Should I give you Despair?":
Nope and I have all day searching for information and images (you can see my work in the articles) but I did find a trailer of the game for those who are interested in the game (like me):

If you mail me an SD card, I'll mail you a copy.

It don't work that way, sadly. If it didn't come from the same Wii as it was downloaded on, it won't play.
Master Conjurer : 02:35, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
I know. I thought I didn't have to use <joke></joke> for that one. The Wii makes that very clear when you buy WiiWare. I have heard of people getting around the restriction for the Virtual Console, though. I'm considering an attempt to make it work for WiiWare, too.
New guy here, but if you love this game, wouldn't that be counterproductive? You're trying to support the series through legal purchases, right? Anyway, I'm going to try to help on this article where I can as I just finished the story portion of the first part. Also, does anyone know the name of the song that plays when the Mysterious Girl appears? DerekRumpler 11:36, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

Does anyone know when the Yang (or next) chapter is gonna be released? Silas Harvey

[edit] Released?

I'm getting mixed messages from this article. The introduction implies that all of the chapters are released on WiiWare, with some costing 300 points and others grouped together and costing 800 points. However, the chapter summaries state that only four chapters are released, with the Prologue, Ceodore and Kain chapters grouped together, and Rydia's as an additional download. Which is the correct case here? I don't currently have access to WiiWare, so I can't verify this for myself. 24.78.39.15 21:41, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

It stops after you battle the fake Kain. One of our users wrote a walkthrough. It currently ends here.  ILHI (W/B) 21:48, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

since this is now on wii ware do you think before crisis might come out on it? Oni Dark Link 12:18, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Shops

TenzaZangetsu 11,532 18 June 2009 (UTC)  -   "If you don’t know, then I will show you. This is the true form of despair.":
Since many cities from this game are the same from FFIV, should I obviously add the shops in the same article, right?.

W/B
Yes. Put the FFIV section under ===Final Fantasy IV=== and add a new ===Final Fantasy IV: The After Years=== section. (with italics and links)
TenzaZangetsu 11,532 19 June 2009 (UTC)  -   "If you need someone else to fulfill your dreams, it loses it's value, wouldn't you agree?":
Okay.

[edit] kains tale

the kains tale section is a bit wrong. it says they meet rosa and cid in baron and edward accompanys them. im playing this on the wii ware and dont want to change it in case its different in other versions. can some one confirm this? Oni Dark Link 20:12, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

If you're playing on the Wii, you have the right version. Don't be afraid to add information; if it's wrong by any degree, someone will change it to be right. Eric Ryan Jones 20:52, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

its on the kain page also though. Oni Dark Link 20:55, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Then it's more likely to be right. Go for it. Eric Ryan Jones 21:06, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

thats why i wanted to ask some one to confirm it, Oni Dark Link 21:59, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Someone make a memo about Japanese names

Check the WiiWare site. It's called The After Years. The mobile version is just called The After. It has two names, but I guess you can call The After Years the remastered edition. 156.12.219.88 22:51, September 24, 2009 (UTC)

Why would we call it "Remastered"? The Japanese name is stated in the article already. Drake Clawfang 23:06, September 24, 2009 (UTC)
