At the top of the page we see the PSP logo of the game. I don't agree with the decision to have this version as the defining logo. This comes from Final Fantasy's 20th Anniversary. I mean, if the Final Fantasy IV page doesn't have that awesome DS logo with Golbez at the front of its page, then this game shouldn't have the latest logo either. Only question is, which logo should we go with? After all, this game didn't have a traditional logo. Well, I have to suggest the PSX logo. It's basically the Wonderswan logo at higher quality, plus it's the last remake that stood true to the original. Plus, it was just recently re-released for PlayStation Network in Japan, technically making it the latest version of the logo anyway. The PSP logo was only used for merely one version of this game; the PSX logo has stuck with us throughout the years way longer. 156.12.219.88 15:54, October 1, 2009 (UTC)

The PSP logo is an upgrade to the PSX logo. It's almost the same, only that the emperor is looking forward, not at the skies (with eyes shut, probably). I do agree FFIV should have the DS logo on its page. ZaFlareStar 1:24, 13th of June, 2010 (UTC)

Is there a page[]

that explains how the leveling system works in this game? I have been wondering for like a year now.--BigCubby 13:41, October 27, 2009 (UTC)

Plot split[]

I split the plot into two sections: The original and Soul of Rebirth plots, as I felt that as Soul of Rebirth is more of a sequel then part of the game, it needed its own place. If anyone gives me a good arguement why they should be joined, I will happily revert it.What more can I say? 06:46, December 18, 2009 (UTC)

20th Anniversary Sprites[]

Hey, I noticed that there are some sprites on this page from the 20th anniversary version. I've desperately been looking for these sprites, and can't find them anywhere, so if anyone could give me a site or something to find them on I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

J2ME remake[]

There is a Java 2 Mobile Edition version of Final Fantasy 2. I don't know the NES version enough to tell the differences, but it seems to be more like the GBA one. But a serious problem may occur in several versions of it: After you receive Scott's Ring, the game crashes after the "You got Ring" message. However the multi-language versions (So far, both being S60 or SE) do NOT crash.

Oh, yeah, the remake in USA and Europe was made by Namco Games

FFII and Star Wars?[]

My friend read on some other sites that Final Fantasy II shares a few references with Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of The Jedi. mainly relating that the "Empire" overrun the "Rebel's" hometown then made their comeback critically damaging the empire's forces then went in and finished off the empire and the emperor. please correct me if I'm wrong on this or if the source my friend got the info from is total crap --PSN: shadow_raven20 16:22, September 21, 2012 (UTC)

Final Fantasy in general takes a little bit from Star Wars. Just look at Biggs and Wedge. Tia-LewiseRydia - Young battle 16:23, September 21, 2012 (UTC)
