Any chance that Bare Dressphere pics will ever be put up? I'm aware of the one of Yuna, but what about Rikku and Paine. Also, how about the mini sphere icons for Psychic and Festival-goer?
Although the names of the dressphere "Lady Luck" and "Songstress", plus the fact that the game did not necessarily disprove this fact might lead me to believe so, can the dresspheres and garment grids only be used by girls? Rose Duelist 16:54, May 26, 2010 (UTC)
Dresspheres' descriptions[]
Could someone update Dresspheres' artciles with In-Game "Help" Descriptions? These are those which shows in "Help" Window when highlighted. You can also add full ones: those from "Dresspheres" submenu. Please.—Kaimi 16:06, July 5, 2010 (UTC)
"widespread"[]
- "Curiously, even if Final Fantasy X-2 takes place only two years after Final Fantasy X, and it is indicated that dresspheres are a recent invention come about after Sin's defeat, dressphere use seems somewhat widespread in Spira in Final Fantasy X-2; Leblanc knows how to use a stolen dressphere to masquerade as Yuna, and her outfit resembles that of the Lady Luck dressphere although she does not use the Lady Luck's skillset when fought as a boss."
Really? Other than Leblanc who uses dresspheres? And if it is just Leblanc how does that make it at all widespread? 79.69.196.16 00:59, January 6, 2013 (UTC)
- Well Rin gives a dressphere as an award for Sphere Break tournament but maybe he's just giving it as a sphere rather than a dressphere.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 01:39, January 6, 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, while dresspheres occur as items found throughout the world, at the start of the game Shinra sees if he can turn a sphere into a Dressphere... that sphere isn't specifically a dressphere until Shinra does his magic. From this I gathered the exact same occurs with everything else -- nothing is naturally a dressphere. 79.69.221.191 13:53, January 6, 2013 (UTC)
Logos seems to use some variation of the gunner dressphere, he even uses some of the abilites albeit with different names.--Juicy Boy (talk) 02:11, January 6, 2013 (UTC)
- That doesn't really mean anything though. It's possible to be talented in something without using a dressphere. -- Some Color Mage ~ (Talk) 02:25, January 6, 2013 (UTC)
Level Stats[]
I'll put it here since I don't want to go over each individual dressphere's talk page for this: do we really need to list stats for every single level? A 100-row long table is not very nice to read especially since we can't demand from regular leader to know which stat column is which if he wanted to check level 50 stats for Gunner, for example. Is listing stats for levels 1, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, and 99 not enough? We do it for example with FFIV:TAY and FFXII characters.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 14:44, January 2, 2014 (UTC)
- If you do it like that you will lose the information on what level the dressphere stats peak, because the growth is not linear and the stats will begin to decrease after a while (and different stats fluctuate and stagnate on different levels), making a stats table with only every tenth level displayed entirely unhelpful. If you want to replace the table then you could write it out in prose for each job, explaining the stat progression in words, but then it's not so easy to compare different jobs for stats.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 04:25, January 3, 2014 (UTC)
Last Mission Dresspheres[]
Maybe these could be separated into their own articles? As far as I can see they have different stats, different way of acquiring, and different abilities entirely.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 19:21, May 24, 2014 (UTC)
- We're treating X-2 and Last Mission as separate games, IIRC, so the jobs should have their own articles. -- Some Color Mage ~ (Talk) 21:43, May 24, 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah, I think they certainly merit their own pages. As for the LM enemies, that's kinda iffy. I don't know if there's enough info and changes from X-2 to merit their own pages (if there isn't we could just make a list of enemies page, like the one for AtB). --Shockstorm 21:54, May 24, 2014 (UTC)
