Image Suggestions[]
I have been uploading images for the enemies and bosses but now I have hit a bit of a snag. So far the only images I have uploaded were ones that were fairly large and for the most part their backgrounds were white, but now all that is left are enemies who have a small picture with colored backgrounds. I have tried uploading some in which I have edited the color out of the backgrounds but I do not think they look that great. I was thinking that maybe I should leave the backgrounds in for some of them. The backgrounds are blue and white. Here is a an example of what they look like CLICK HERE. They are not really that bad, and you can not see the outline like with my other ones. However, I do not have these kind of pictures for every enemy (only the ones that you encounter in the story). For the other enemies I have a different kind of sheet. CLICK HERE These sheets are full-body shots with red in the background. It takes longer to get the background out of these and sometimes when I get rid of the background I make them look worse. They are not really good quality and the red is a little distracting but that is all I have. So basically I want some suggestions on what to do? What does everyone think would look the best for this page?

that's from the official guide, right? I actually think the one with the blue-white background is nicer, but it's smaller compared to the one with the red background, so it won't be looked very nice when you put it this page, though... I've been thinking bout getting a screenshot from the game, but it's quite difficult to get a nice screenshot of the enemy... -.-" How bout if we use the blue-white one and make the size a bit larger?
Its better we have a picture of every enemy than they all be consistent. Upload what you can. Feel free to replace any pictures of the enemy in battle. I never cared for those.

uh... scratch my first comment. The blue-white one is too blurred when I make it bigger...
An image is better than no image. If an image is supremely terrible, then whoever cares and believes so must find a new one. Basically, upload images of all enemies which do not have one. I don'tlike some of the images on this site, yet I don't complain. ILHI 11:23, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the suggestions. I will just upload everything I got. If I resize the blue and white ones to a height of 120 pixels they do not really get too blurry that you can not tell what it is.

hey, but the red one has full-body picture, right? EDIT: uh... the blue-white one is blurry for me that an angra mainyu will look like a very scary eyeball...
Really? Alright I guess I will just upload the red versions. Should I replace the blue/white ones I uploaded with the red ones too? EDIT: I am going to replace the blurry images I uploaded with the red ones. I think you are right Silver Summoner, the red ones do look better.

I'm going through the last of the images now, a number of bosses and human characters (which take a long time each). But I thought I'd list the ones I have not uploaded and reasons why:
- Ifrit: see File talk:CC7IfritBoss.png.
- Tonberry: Look at the image we use for Tonberry now. His lamp isn't lit! Also the star and crowns do not appear above their heads.
- Scorpion: These would be relatively easy to pose, but one of them uses a different bone structure to the other two. I like to be consistent across enemy-types.
- Wutai Beast: Again, one of these uses a different bone structure to the other two. And the viewer makes them all share bone structures when I import, so I can't even handle them separately and at the same time at all.
- Support Machine Propeller things: The propeller arms don't work like I would hope. The viewer isn't perfect, so there doesn't seem to be a way to rotate them about the pivot.
- Materia: I have the sort, but the Materia in the sword must be a post-effect because I don't see it on the textures.
- Mandragora: Bending all the grass-strand things atop its head is difficult and not done right by the program.
- Malboro: Similar to above, but also the amount I have to do is daunting.
- Cactuar: I can do its arms, but it's legs don't bend correctly in the viewer.
- Bugs: I have to rotate too many in too many odd ways.
I also see that Genesis has a lightsabre. I imagine that will be a post-lighting effect and thus impossible for me to do as well. 2.102.228.237 19:30, March 5, 2013 (UTC)
