Multiple covers per turn[]

The Knight will automatically take physical attacks for any allies in HP Critical status.
Cover is used by Cecil as a command ability once he becomes a Paladin. Cover has a Charge Time of 0. He can use it to take damage in the place of an ally of his choice. He automatically covers any characters who are low on HP.
Cover is the Level 1 ability for the Knight class, learned for 10 ABP. It covers characters who are low on HP

Does anyone know if there are any limits, like if all 3 of your teammates are low/critical can you cover all 3 from 1 Guard command (or 1 ally against multiple consecutive attacks) or does it turn off after 1 use?

I'm specifically looking for an example of a gameplay video which exhibits the ability to cover against multiple attacks even though it's just 1 turn (where you could normally just attack 1 time) and would like to know the greatest example of us witnessing that, either involving a very fast enemy or a big group of enemies.

Part of this is I'm wondering if GURPS could actually emulate the Cover ability of Knights/Paladin because it only allows a "sacrificial dodge" to be done once per turn, and if you can Cover more than once per turn then it obviously can't emulate that without unusual abilities. talk2ty 20:36, September 3, 2018 (UTC)

Support abilities work passively, so they don't turn off ever. Command abilities usually work until you choose another command. Cover is usually always a support ability, but Auron in FFX has it as a command, and the Yang Cover Counter thing you just made into an article also. Probably not all attacks are coverable though. If the enemies are using what is their normal Attack command, Cover will just work every time. If the enemy is using a special attack, Cover might not activate at all.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 02:27, September 4, 2018 (UTC)
