What's with the A.K.A. "Captain?" As far as I know, no real source calls Cid captain, unless your speaking of his position on the airship, which doesn't really make sense regarding what is written on all the other character pages for Final Fantasy VII.

I'd say that the "Highwind" part of his name precludes that possibility. But remember, FFVII doesn't have Classes. So this is a pointless discussion. --BlueHighwind 19:46, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

I remember the Captain part from FF7. But where are these dates pulled from...? Nowhere does it say that these events occur in 2003-9-etc. If you can't credit that source, don't make it up...

well there are two popular timelines to consider, theres one based off jenova's helmet which says era 19670702 Discovered, which seems to mean july second 1967, the game mentioned this was about 30 years prior to FFVII putting the events of the game in mid-late 1997, that timeline is referenced here http://www.ff7citadel.com/gameinfo/enc_timeline.shtml the second time line is slightly less credible as it has some discrepancies, but its also SE's official timeline from the ultimania, so it is the timeline used in the article, and that timeline is here http://thelifestream.net/final-fantasy-vii/107/complete-timeline-of-the-compilation-of-ffvii/ 68.19.87.177 04:38, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Bluetash TALK - {{{time}}} According to the most recent official source, http://na.square-enix.com/ff7psn/ , Cid's height is 5'8", not 5'10". Should we update the article?

Yeah, I guess Square wants to give us conflicting measurements. >.> This makes me laugh, becasue I remember anons insisting TIfa's height was 5'5 instead of 5'6. Now it's 5'4. Sigh. Guess this official, though, so go ahead. 8bit 02:29, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
