Mantle Colours[]

Hi, this may sound a bit stupid but I don't have the game as I don't really know Japanese that well. What are the mantle colours for each class? As I know that Class 0 is red, Class 1 is light blue and class 5 is light green, what are the other classes colours? As I have looked around on this wiki and around the internet but nowhere actually says. It'd be much appreciated if anyone can tell me. --Yunagal95 19:36, January 20, 2012 (UTC)

Class 7 is orange, Class 8 is yellow, 12 is green...I think. I don't know a word of Japanese, I'm just going by the numbers that appear by their names when you talk to them...Insanelevelgrinder 04:20, January 22, 2012 (UTC)

I just recently updated them with the best I could, 9 I cant really tell the color well, 12 I think is the dark gray or it might be the white of 11, not completely sure and if Light Blue is 1 and Blue is 2 then Im on track with that. Sen Suzumiya 12:44, April 19, 2012 (UTC)

Names[]

Regarding the renaming to Vermillion Peristylium, I want to wait until Type-0 HD releases more official information, but something to clear up the naming conventions used with Peristylium:

  • Peristylium technically refers to the place where each nation houses their crystal. Control the crystal and you control the whole nation. That's why the peristylia are naturally located in their nations' capital cities.
  • The Dominion of Rubrum's capital city is a magic academy, whose full name is "魔導院ペリシティリウム朱雀" (Magic Academy Peristylium Suzaku) and "魔導院" for short. The official site and the English Agito announcement trailer have a name for that now: Akademia. Akademia is probably the answer to "魔導院" since the latter is used to refer to the academy in the game. Peristylium has been used in fan summaries and translations because it was most likely to carry over as a term in the English version, but it does not exactly refer to the school.
  • In the English opening movie, White Peristylium and Vermilion Peristylium are translated from "Peristylium Byakko" and "Peristylium Suzaku", respectively, because the context refers to the nations going to war over world domination, which includes controlling another nation's crystal. We did not see any context regarding Akademia, the academy. Vermilion Peristylium would refer to the area that houses the Suzaku/Vermilion Bird Crystal, because that's what the Milites Empire is after.
  • The peristylia of Byakko and Soryu are not visitable locations, but their capital cities are, to some brief extent. So you visit the city of Ingram, but not the White Peristylium.

Way back then I renamed the article to Peristylium Suzaku because Type-0 was still in an era of tentative translation, and because Magic Academy Peristylium Suzaku might've been too long a title. But this page is about the academy that's going to be player headquarters, so Akademia is a more likely title. I don't know what they're gonna do about the full name up there, or if Akademia is just going to stay as Akademia, but this is just to heed that Vermilion Peristylium may not be the final name for the academy. Again, we'll wait for more information. Mierna 21:36, October 4, 2014 (UTC)

Events[]

There should be an article for all the "events" you can do during your free time by interacting with people with the yellow exclamation marks. I'm not sure what they are referred to in the game...if anything. The official guide should have a name for it? We could probably get a list from somewhere for all the possible events.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 02:28, March 26, 2015 (UTC)

An events article sounds good, and the term is used in both Ultimania and Prima so it's official. Mierna 22:46, March 26, 2015 (UTC)
