I suspect the "bolt" is a handle so when she moves her arm she holds it so the shield moves with it.

FFVII PSN Version Retconning Yuffie's Age!!! Edit

Bluetash TALK - {{{time}}} According to the most recent official source, http://na.square-enix.com/ff7psn/ , Yuffie is 19 in FFVII, not 16 as stated in the article (thus presumably in previous sources). Should we update the article? I suspect they changed her age to make her adult and be more "politically correct".

Oranejo - rabble, rabble, rabble TALK - 02:30, 7 July 2009 (UTC) I think that is just a typo. NA Square sites tend to be off sometimes, like the Dissidia site for example. The character profiles that are on the site are the same ones that are in the Playstation game manual. The only difference I can see between the manual and the site (besides Yuffie's age) is that some of the descriptions are slightly cleaned up and Red XIII's height is listed as unknown.

in the strategy guide for FFVII she is 16 so that's fine also i put in the year she was born based on the information from the Vincent page

Name translation?Edit

I read somewhere that Kisaragi means "Wear more clothes," but the article says nothing about this. It may be just a mistranslation, but I wanted to make sure it was true, considering I know nothing about japanese. --76.238.3.187 02:13, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

I don't think that's true. I think 'Kinusaragi' (きぬさらぎ and 衣更着) means "wear more clothes". The Kanji for 'Kisaragi' is 如月 or 生更ぎ which I think means "second month of the lunar calendar", "February", or "rebirth of plants" 4.227.202.131 11:34, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Reason for Voice Actor change? Edit

Ok, in Kingdom Hearts 1 and Advent Children, Yuffie was voiced by Christie Carlson Romano, yet in Kingdom Hearts 2 and Crisis Core, she's voiced by Mae Whitman. Does anyone know why they changed the VA? I just wanted to know, as other articles, namely Aerith and Sephiroth's articles, were given a reason for the change, yet this article didn't.
