Added by OranejoSword Dance (ソードダンス, Sōdo Dansu, or 剣の舞, Ken no Mai?, lit. "Sōdo Dansu (or Ken no Mai)"), also known as Blade Dance, Sword Quiver, Saber Dance, or Blade Torrent (流剣の舞, Ruken no Mai?) is a recurring ability from the Final Fantasy series. It is usually a powerful physical attack, and has been usable by both the party and enemies.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years

Sword Dance is a Band ability formed by combining Edward's Bardsong with Cecil's Attack command. It does physical damage to enemies.
Final Fantasy V

Sword Dance is one of four commands that may be used when the Dance command is used. The Dancing Dagger also randomly uses the Dance command instead of attacking. Sword Dance attacks a single enemy with four times the strength of a normal attack. There is a 1/4 chance of the Dance command using Sword Dance, but this chance doubles to 1/2 when the user equips the Rainbow Dress, Red Slippers, or Lamia's Tiara.
Final Fantasy VI

Blade Dance is an attack exclusive to Gilgamesh. It's a strong physical attack by itself and its followed by three physical strikes in a row with 150% more power than normal.
Final Fantasy IX

Sword Quiver is an attack associated with both Maliris and her crystal form in Memoria, it deals massive non-elemental damage to a single target.
Final Fantasy X-2

Sword Dance is a Limit Break-type ability usable by Full Throttle, Paine's special dressphere. It can be learned for 30 AP after learning Fright. It does two highly damaging physical attacks to the enemy party.

Saber Dance is a Second Group Merit ability for the Dancer job which increases the player's Double Attack rate and Samba duration while removing the ability to use Waltzes.

Blade Dance is an ability usable by Penelo when she is equipped with a blade-type weapon. It does damage to an enemy twice.

Blade Dance is an attack which the Legion and the Lost Emperor use, they will stretch there limbs performing a deadly sword combo whit there 6 swords finishing whit them swinging all there swords downward toward the ground striking anything in its path in a wide range.

Dissidia Final Fantasy

Sword Dance is a Brave attack usable by Exdeath. It is a simple physical attack with his sword, and can hit up to four times depending on if the attack is used as a normal attack or a counterattack, and if Exdeath is in EX Mode.
Onion Knight can use Blade Torrent as an HP attack. It has him pause for a moment, then leap forward and into the air, rapidly teleporting around the opponent to attack with his sword if the first strike is successful. Sword Dance costs 40 CP to equip and 180 AP to master.

Sword Dance and Blade Torrent return as attacks for Exdeath and Onion Knight, respectively. Sword Dance is also available to Gilgamesh as a HP attack. He slashes the opponent once, followed by a series of spinning attacks if the first hit lands. It costs 30 CP to equip and 130 AP to master.

Penelo's card featuring her Tactics A2 character art can use Blade Dance. For the discard of a Penelo card and Dulling Penelo, Blade Dance deals 3000 damage for each Penelo card in the Break Zone, to a Forward of the player's choice.
