Shift to a simple stance and perform combos with / (and optionally with tilting the left analog stick upwards/to the left/to the right)
Swiftwind Stance is a combat ability learned by Eight, and is initially available at the start of the game. It is an attack style mostly focused on speed and agility, allowing for quick blows. In turn, the style requires precision and accuracy to aim attacks, as its free flowing nature of attacks demands focus for it to be offensive. As with all Stance abilities, tilting the joystick in various directions allow for Eight to perform different attacks.
- Default press: Readies a leaning stance to throw a standing rapid barrage of punches.
- Hold up: Jumps ahead to accelerate a sliding kick.
- Hold left/right: Performs a series of jumping spinning roundhouse kicks that hits twice in succession.
- Hold down: Leaps up and pounds the ground with a mighty punch that sends out a blast of dust in a geyser formation.
