The Survival Vest (サバイバルベスト, Sabaibaru Besuto?) is a recurring armor in the series. It is often a mid-rank armor that provides decent Defense, but sometimes grants physical bonuses as well.

Description
The Survival Vest is a mid-rank armor that can be used by everyone except Steiner and Freya. It provides +17 Defense, +2 Spirit, and teaches Antibody, Mug, and Locomotion.
It can be bought for 2,900 gil at Black Mage Village (disc 2/3), Lindblum (disc 3), Madain Sari, Alexandria, and Treno (disc 3/4), found in Fossil Roo and Madain Sari, and stolen from Beatrix during the battle in Alexandria.
Final Fantasy XII

The Survival Vest is a mid-rank light armor bought for 1,900 gil at Rabanastre and Jahara that requires 25 LP to use. It provides +140 HP, +16 Defense, and +5 Vitality.
In the Zodiac versions, Survival Vest can be used by the Machinist, Monk, Archer, and Shikari.

The Survival Vest is a low-rank armor that teaches Immunity to Blue Mages and Beastmasters. It provides +31 Defense and +6 Resistance, and can be bought for 1,100 gil in the shop after creating it in the Bazaar after using a Gun Gear, Tiger Hide, and Power Fruit.
