Final Fantasy VI PlayStation Bestiary entry
The Stray Cat is an enemy in Final Fantasy VI. It is notable for its powerful Rage: the Stray Cat Rage is one of the most popular for Gau, as Cat Scratch is a simple but highly-effective physical attack, and the Rage can be acquired as soon as Gau is recruited. If Gau is equipped with a Genji Glove, Cat Scratch will attack twice.
Stats
Battle
Stray Cats tend to attack in groups, and every third turn have a chance to use their special attack, Cat Scratch, which does quadruple damage to a single target. They have low HP and can easily be killed before their third turn.
