Added by Oranejo(Stone, 石つぶて ?, lit. "Ishitsubute") or (ストーン, Sutōn) is a recurring spell in the series. It usually inflicts Earth-elemental damage to enemies, and has an upgrade in the form of Stonega and Stoneja.

Final Fantasy VI
Stone is a Lore for Strago and one he has already learned when he joins the party. It deals non-elemental magic damage and inflicts Confuse upon one or all opponents. If the enemy is the same level as Strago, Stone deals 8 times more damage. Its Spell Power is 40, its Hit Rate is 75, and it costs 22 MP to cast.
Stone can also be used by the enemies Iron Fist, Ultros during the third battle, Zaghrem, Knotty, Guardian, Valeor, Dark Force, and Gilgamesh.
Final Fantasy IX
Stone is an attack belonging to Mu. It inflicts non-elemental damage.
Final Fantasy XI
Stone is the lowest-level Black Mage spell in Final Fantasy XI. It deals Earth-elemental damage to a single target. It can be purchased from a vendor for 70 gil or less depending on fame. Players who start Final Fantasy XI as a Black Mage automatically start with this scroll in their inventory. Red Mages, Scholars, and Dark Knights can also learn this spell.

Final Fantasy Tactics
Stone, also known as Throw Stone, is an ability in Final Fantasy Tactics. The user picks up a stone, and throws it at the target, causing minimal damage and knockback. It is learned for 90 JP by the Squire job. The differences between Stone and Rush is that Stone is a ranged attack but Rush guarantees 100% hit-rate and does not trigger most reaction abilities, including Shirahadori.
Final Fantasy Legend III
This White Magic spell can inflict Petri on an enemy or cure an ally's petrification. It cost 20 MP to use, and it can be bought for 3400 GP in Elan (Future) and New Dharm (Future).
Dissidia Final Fantasy
Shantotto casts Stone when using Spirit Magic: Earth while her Brave is less than 3,000. It sends rocks flying upwards from the ground to deal damage to the opponent.
Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy
The upper limit for Shantotto casting Stone with Spirit Magic: Earth is now 2000 bravery.
