Spark (スパーク, Supāku?), also known as Thunderspark (サンダースパーク, Sandāsupāku?), is a recurring enemy spell in the Final Fantasy series. As its name implies, it is usually a lightning-elemental attack, but at other times it is also fire or non-elemental.

Appearances Edit

Final Fantasy III Edit

Spark is the name of the summon spell used to call Ramuh into battle.

Final Fantasy XI Edit

Thunderspark is one of Ramuh's Blood Pacts. It deals Lightning damage on targets in an area of effect and has a chance to cause Paralysis. It is obtained at level 19 and the Pact requires 38 MP to cast.

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings Edit

Spark is an attack used by Ramuh. It does minor Lightning-elemental damage.

Final Fantasy XIV Edit

Spark appears as an enemy ability used by Nabriales. When used, it will unleash an orb of electricity on the target with the most enmity and deal moderate unaspected damage. Spark will be paired up with the Double and Triple abilities, which will allow him to cast Spark two or three times in succession.

Final Fantasy Tactics Edit

Spark is used by Exploder. It does Fire-elemental damage in a small radius and heals the user.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift Edit

Spark is an enemy ability, used by the Grenade, that inflicts non-elemental damage to all surrounding units and restores the user's HP.

Final Fantasy Legend III Edit

Spark is a White Magic spell can inflict Dark on an enemy or cure an ally's blindness. It cost 12 MP to use, and it can be bought for 700 GP in Elan (Past & Present), and Lae (Past).
