Sony Computer Entertainment, Inc. (SCEI or SCE) is a video game company specializing in a variety of video game areas, mostly in the video game consoles, and is the full subsidiary of Sony Corporation that was established in 1993 in Tokyo, Japan. The main series Final Fantasy games from Final Fantasy VII to Final Fantasy XIII have all come out on Sony consoles.

Several side games and remakes such as Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy Chronicles, have also used Sony hardware. After Final Fantasy III was released on PlayStation portable on 2012, all main series Final Fantasy titles have been released for a Sony console.
