A young woman who served as a dancer in the front lines during the war. Soleil's bewitching dances not only serve to comfort the hearts of soldiers on the field, but the different magical properties tied to each dance help unlock their innermost potential as well. In battle she wields the throwing weapon known as the chakram, though being a pacifist at heart she prefers to use it as a part of her dance routine rather than for hurting others.

In-game description

Soleil is a character and summonable vision from Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. A dancer hailing from Ardra, her vision can be summoned by Rain and Lasswell to aid them in their battles.

Story

Originally an inhabitant from the continent of Ardra,[1] Soleil was born into a family of dancers whose job was to serve as support for soldiers on the battlefield.

She grew up loving dance until she finally learned the original purpose behind her unique skills. The grief she felt upon realizing that her passion was meant to be used as a tool of war then crystallized in form of a vision.

Nevertheless, she served in the front lines during the war, using her dances not only to comfort the hearts of soldiers on the field, but to help unlock their innermost potential as well. In battle she wields the chakram, though she prefers to use it as a part of her dance routine.

Gameplay

Soleil's job is listed as Dancer. A 4-6★ Rare Summon, her roles in battle is to Support. Her Trust Master reward is Miracle Step – a passive ability that increases the unit's MP by 20%, its MAG/SPR by 10%, and raises its chance of evading physical damage by 5%.

Soleil has no natural element or status resistances, and can equip daggers, staves, rods, whips and throwing weapons, along with hats, clothes and robes. She can also equip accessories. Soleil has a exclusive materia, Healing Waltz II, which allows the user to cure poison, blind, sleep, silence, paralyze, confuse, and disease to the whole party at the cost of 20 MP. It was available during the Auracite Chosen event. It could be purchased from King Mog's reward shop at the cost of 4000 Red Orbs.

While not exclusive to her, Battle Hoop (a throwing weapon with ATK+50 and DEF+20) only grants the Graceful effect when equipped by Soleil herself. Graceful is a passive that decreases her chance of being targeted by 10%. The weapon was available in the Auracite Chosen event as well, though its cost was 6000 Red Orbs.

Etymology

Soleil means "sun" in French. It is not commonly used as a name in France itself.

The Sun is the star at the center of the Solar System and is by far the most important source of energy for life on Earth. It is a nearly perfect sphere of hot plasma, with internal convective motion that generates a magnetic field via a dynamo process.
