Soldier (ソルジャー, Sorujā) is a special job class from Final Fantasy Tactics. The Soldier is a novelty class meant to appeal to Final Fantasy VII fans, as it is Cloud's default job class, named after SOLDIER, the elite unit of powerful warriors under the command of the Shinra Electric Power Company, a major antagonist in Final Fantasy VII, and the division which Cloud initially claimed (and believed) to have been a member of. Its special skills involve dealing heavy damage to a single foe, and are all based on Cloud's Limit Breaks from Final Fantasy VII, except Cherry Blossom which is based on Kjata's attack. It costs 6730 JP to master this job.
A mysterious otherworldly traveler capable of formidable Limit techniques when his rage reaches a breaking point.
