Silence

From Final Fantasy Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Silence, also known as Mute, is a common status effect from the Final Fantasy series. It also appears as a White Magic spell or as part of a special Skill which causes the effect.

Silenced characters cannot cast spells or perform certain other attacks, such as Bard's Songs from Final Fantasy Tactics. Most bosses that use magic are immune to Silence.

Silence can be cured by using an Echo Screen.
