—Final Fantasy VI description
Shuriken(しゅりけん, Shuriken?), also known as Ninja, are throwing recurring weapons that appear in the Final Fantasy series. They can usually be thrown by Ninjas. A common upgrade to the Shuriken is the Fuma Shuriken.
The Shuriken once again return, and can be thrown by both Edge and Gekkou. It has an attack power of 20 and cost 200 gil. It can be bought in Eblan during Edge's Tale and Dwarven Castle during Zangetsu's Tale.
VIShadow can throw the Shuriken to deal moderate non-elemental damage to one target. The Outsider, can also throw the same Shuriken, and uses Shuriken as a counter to physical attacks. It has an attack power of 86, and can be bought for 30 gil in various places.
A ninja throwing weapon. While ninjas are known for the severe training they undergo, perhaps the most fundamental skill is the throwing of a shuriken. It demands complete control of the arm and wrist to send it flying to the vulnerable part of your foe, and only ninjas who hit their target without fail are worthy of their name.
