Shell V is the highest level version of the original Shell spell, found in Final Fantasy XI. Until the June 2010 version update, it was only utilized by Bahamut in the quest Storms of Fate and De'Vyu Headhunter during Campaign battles. With the increase of the level cap, it is now available for White Mages at 76. Later updates expanded it to Red Mages and Scholars. When cast, the target's Magic Defense is significantly enhanced (24.2%).
