Shamshir is the second weakest Saber, with the Blue Saber being the weakest. It provides 31 Weapon Attack and 2 Evasion, but does not provide any abilities to learn. It can only be equipped by the Blue Mage class.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the RiftEdit

TA2 Shamshir returns as the third weakest Saber, and provides 34 Attack and 4 Evasion, but still provides no abilities to learn. It can be equipped by the Blue Mage, Chocobo Knight, Sky Pirate, and Heritor classes.
