[edit] Story

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

[edit] Before Crisis -Final Fantasy VII-

Shalua appears in Episode 21 in Corel Prison, searching for Shelke who had been taken by the Turks to be a SOLDIER candidate. She had joined with AVALANCHE to fight Shin-Ra, but eventually found that organization too twisted under Fuhito to continue working for. At some point under AVALANCHE, she was given serious injuries, but was saved by underground doctors. She briefly helps the player Turk, but then leaves. As she leaves, she promises to never forgive AVALANCHE.

It is revealed that Shalua is the one who made Barret's Gun-Arm, and she still has her left eye.

[edit] Dirge of Cerberus -Final Fantasy VII-

Shalua works for the WRO in hopes of finding her lost sister, Shelke. Eventually, she finds her sister, and is saddened to find Shelke corrupted by deepground, turned into a heartless soldier. The reunion is short lived however, when Deepground attacks the WRO’s headquarters. Azul the Cerulean, fights his way into the to the medical center, and attempts to abduct Shelke again, but Shalua helps Shelke and Vincent Valentine escape, resulting in her being seriously injured and falling into a coma. Later on they find Shalua, but are unable to revive her. They put her into a capsule, hoping to be able to revive her later. Unfortunately, during the Battle of Midgar, her capsule falls from the Shera, and lands somewhere in Midgar. It is unknown whether she survives or not.
