The Schmidt is an enemy in Final Fantasy VI. Schmidt used the same sprite as Sky Armor until the mobile releases where its rotors were positioned at a different angle.

Etymology

Heinz Schmidt was a famous Luftwaffe Fighter Ace from World War II. He was credited with 173 aerial victories before being shot down in 1943.
