Sagittarius (サジタリウス, Sajitariusu^?), the Archer, is a sign of the Zodiac and a recurring symbol in the Final Fantasy series.

Sagittarius is one the Stellazzio coins collected by Queen Stella. After Lindblum is ravaged by Atomos, the coin can be found in the city, to the left of the woman selling gysahl pickles.

Final Fantasy XIEdit

The Sagittarius Subligar is one of the thirteen Zodiac subligaria, which can obtained from a Fomor Dark Knight in specific level-capped dungeons around Tavnazia. It is used to obtain the Gloom Breastplate, a heavy armor worn by Dark Knights.

Additionally, the Sagittarian Casters were a Windurstian Caster Company led by Kamolo-Domilo.

Final Fantasy XIIEdit

The Esper Shemhazai, aligned with the element of Soul, embodies the sign of Sagittarius. In the International version, the Sagittarius emblem is fittingly represented by the Archer job. Sagittarius Gems are dropped by Flan-type enemies.

Final Fantasy TacticsEdit

Sagittarius is one of the twelve Zodiac Stones. High Confessor Marcel Funebris gives the stone to Meliadoul Tengille, daughter of Folmarv Tengille, in an attempt to carry favor for the Church of Glabados. Meliadoul initially heeds her father's orders, however, when she discovers that he is possessed by the Lucavi Hashmal, she alerts Ramza Beoulve, who is working against the Lucavi's mission. Meliadoul joins the party after the defeat of Zalera and brings the Sagittarius Stone along with her.

Sagittarius is also a Zodiac sign used to determine damage compatibility between characters during battle. Sagittarius has optimal compatibility with Gemini, good compatibility with Aries and Leo, and bad compatibility with Pisces and Virgo.
