Ruby Dragon is an enemy and a boss in Final Fantasy VIII.

Do not underestimate this enemy. Its Breath is non-elemental and will always hit. Fortunately, it will only use Breath if all three party members are alive. It will cast Reflect on itself if one of the party members is also Reflected. Ruby Dragon is also capable of high-level magic.

Ruby Dragon is a boss during Laguna's Dream Sequence during the movie shooting at Trabia Canyon, during which it wandered onto the movie set and frightened most of the crew away when they realized it was a real dragon as opposed to an actor in a cheap costume playing the role, and must be fought by Squall and the party if they are to retrieve the Guardian Force Bahamut.
