The Roundworm is a boss from Final Fantasy II. It resides within the sea monster Leviathan, and attempts to prevent Firion and his allies from getting back aboard their ship, which was also swallowed. It later appears as a random encounter in Pandaemonium's secret room, and as an enemy facing Ricard Highwind in the Unknown Cave.

StrategyEdit

The Roundworm is an extremely simple foe, but that is not saying it is weak. This boss can dish out physical punishment as well as a Gigas, so casting Blink and Protect at the outset of the battle is a great idea. However, with no MP and no magical weaknesses, the Roundworm makes for some very straightforward physical fighting. Equip your most powerful physical attackers with your most powerful weapons and slice away at the beast's HP. Cast Berserk and Haste on your warriors to help the process along.
