Rosa appears as a playable character available through download, and her appearance is based off her original Yoshitaka Amano art.
Identical to her role in Final Fantasy IV, Rosa is a white mage with an emphasis on Spirit; she has a large amount of abilities that restore the party's health while also possessing defensive skills which can further reduce the chances of receiving enemy damage. However, she can also be used offensively with her possession of Holy, though the player needs to max out her level in order for it to be accessed.

The childhood friend of Cecil and Kain. Rosa harbors romantic feelings for Cecil, whom she endeavors to protect by becoming a white mage and fighting at his side.
Rosa is a playable character who could initially be recruited during the Challenge Event The Burning Blade as the First Time Reward for completing the event's Tower of Zot - Spire stage on Classic difficulty. She has also appeared in Twin Stars of Mysidia and A Summoner Grown.
Rosa is a White Mage, whose combat role is Healing Magic.
As one of the most celebrated characters in her class, it should come as no surprise that Rosa is a strong support unit. While she isn't nearly as versatile as her Summoner successors Garnet, Eiko, and Yuna, or even Lenna as presented in this game, she is equally as potent in her craft as they are in theirs. Unlike them, however, Rosa can potentially rescue a downed party with Divine Favor, or be its shieldmaiden with a timely Miracle. Low HP and average Accuracy do not serve Rosa justice, as in her original game she was equally renowned for her prowess with a bow.
Her default Soul Break is Trueshot Bow which at the expense of one Soul Gauge segment deals ranged physical damage to one target. The bow Elven Bow (IV) allows Rosa to use Divine Favor.
She can equip accessories.
Rosa appears as a vision obtainable through summoning. Her job is White Mage. Her trust mastery reward is Goddess Bow. She possesses the special abilities Aim, MP +20%, Sharpshot, SPR +30%, Charge Shot, MP Stroll and Bless. She possesses the magics Stona, Cleanse, Curaga, Dispelga, Esuna and Curaja. Her limit burst is Miracle of Baron.
- No. 292: "A white mage who appears in the tales of a blue planet watched over by two moons. Rosa was an expert archer possessed of great beauty and grace, but who had eyes only for her childhood friend Cecil. When informed that Cecil had perished during a mission to vanquish a certain Eidolon, she refused to accept it and left Baron in search of him. Alas, she was stricken with desert fever and collapsed in the outskirts of Kaipo."
- No. 293: "A white mage who appears in the tales of a blue planet watched over by two moons. Rosa left the kingdom of Baron in search of Cecil, who had failed in to return from an Eidolon-slaying mission. However, this resulted in her failing ill with desert fever, and eventually she collapsed. Once Cecil and his comrades managed to cure Rosa's illness using a sand pearl, the recovering Rosa begged to stay by Cecil's side and convinced him that they ought to travel together. No matter what peril they encountered, her restorative magic and skill with the bow allowed the party to press onward."
