DFF Rising Wave

Rising Wave in Dissidia Final Fantasy and Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy.

Rising Wave (ライズウェイブ, Raizu Weibu?, lit. Rise Wave) is a recurring ability in the series. It is an ability used exclusively by Golbez.

AppearancesEdit

Dissidia Final FantasyEdit

Dissidia Rising Wave is a ground magical Bravery attack for Golbez, obtained at the start of the game. It requires 30 CP to equip (15 when mastered), 180 AP to master, has Melee Low priority on the hand fling, Ranged Low on the energy blast, and unblockable priority on the energy plume, and induces Wall Rush. Golbez flings his hand at the opponent and summons a pillar of darkness, then fires an energy blast. If the opponent is hit by Golbez's hand, the blast will knock them back into the pillar and up into the air.

Dissidia 012 Final FantasyEdit

Dissidia012 Rising Wave returns as a Bravery attack for Golbez, now requiring 70 AP to master. Golbez flings his hand at opponent and summon a plume of dark energy, then fires an energy blast. If the opponent is hit by Golbez's hand, the energy blast knocks them back into the plume and up into the air. If the opponent is hit by the plume of energy, the energy blast knocks them backwards. The energy blast can be charged to teleport close to opponent before firing. Golbez moves towards the opponent to strike them with his hand if they are close enough on attack start-up.
