Reprieve (ラストリーヴ, Rasuto Rīvu?, lit. Last Live) is a recurring auto-ability that doubles as a status effect exclusive to Lightning Saga. When the affected character's HP is not in the critical status, the damage that would otherwise kill the character will reduce their HP to 1.

XIII Reprieve is a Sentinel auto-ability that whenever the character's HP is above critical and they receive an attack that should have reduced their HP to 0, they will remain alive with 1 HP.

Lightning learns at Crystarium Stage 10, Snow at Crystarium Stage 8, Vanille at Crystarium Stage 7, Hope at Crystarium Stage 9, and Fang at Crystarium Stage 9.
