Reks is Vaan's elder brother by two years. He harbors no love of bloodshed, but he willingly joins the Order of the Knights of Dalmasca to defend his homeland in time of war. Reks acquits himself bravely in battle, but he is soon caught up in an imperial plot to assassinate the king.
Reks is a playable character in Final Fantasy Record Keeper who could initially be recruited during the Challenge Event Pawn Among Kings, where he was the First Time Reward for completing the event's Sky Pirate's Savvy stage on Classic difficulty.
Reks is a Dalmascan Soldier, whose combat role is Physical/Magic Hybrid.
He possesses traits of a Warrior, Spellblade, and Red Wizard as one unit. He has good Attack and Speed, and he can assist with buffs and debuffs.

His default Soul Break is Cure (XII), that at the expense of one Soul Gauge segment restores a moderate amount of HP to one target.
He can equip accessories.
Upon breaking Reks' first level cap, he acquires the Record Materia "Spark of Youth", which allows the wielder to perform a small amount of extra damage with Spellblade skills.
Breaking Reks' second cap allows for a chance at "Cool Head", which allows the wielder to deal significantly more damage when attacking with foes' elemental weaknesses.
