Regen (リジェネ, Rijene?) is a spell that gives the Regen status, causing the target to gain HP over time. Regen is an abbreviation for regeneration. It appears in various games in the Final Fantasy series.
Regen is a command unique to Fusoya in the original game. Regen has a Charge Time of 0. It places the Regen status on the entire party, which restores 10 HP at set intervals to all party members. Fusoya is disabled from inputting any commands for the duration of the Regen status, but will be able to input commands once the status is lifted when a certain amount of time passes. This ability was replaced by Bless for the Nintendo DS remake, since the Bardsong abilities included Life's Anthem, which gives the Regen status to the entire party.
Regen is a Level 1 Time Magic spell that targets a single character. It costs 3 MP to cast, and can be bought for 100 gil at Walse, Istory, and Karnak. Regen can be cast by Calofisteri, Chrono Controller, Enuo, Magissa, and Omniscient.
Regen is learned from Kirin and Lakshmi. Kirin's ability Holy Aura also casts Regen on the entire party. It costs 10 MP to cast and is vulnerable to Runic. Regen can be cast by Level 60 Magic and Cherry.
Regen is the level 3 spell on the Restore Materia. This spell is more powerful than Cure 2, allowing the player to regenerate HP constantly instead of a set interval. An exploit involving lifting up the PlayStation disc cover lets the player restore all their HP while the enemy will not take an action; this only works on the PlayStation, not on the PC, PlayStation 2, or PlayStation 3. It costs 30 MP to cast.
Regen can be drawn from various enemies or Draw Points and cast on allies or junctioned to stats. Regen can be used to slowly damage the undead. Blood Soul uses the spell against the party after casting Zombie on them.

Regen is a White Magic spell found in Yuna's section of the Sphere Grid. It costs 40 MP to cast. Regen can be cast by Cindy, Jumbo Flan, Sanctuary Keeper, Th'uban, and Yunalesca in her last two forms.
Regen is a White Mage spell that can be learned for 80 AP after learning Curaga. It costs 40 MP to cast. It can also be accessed through the Garment Grid Wishbringer. Regen can be cast by ????, Baralai (Pyrefly form), Black Elemental (Oversoul), Blue Elemental (Oversoul), Cindy, Dark Elemental (Oversoul), Gold Elemental (Oversoul), Node A, Node B, Node C (parts of Vegnagun's leg, and Right Bulwark.
Regen is a spell that appears in five different types: Regen, Regen II, Regen III, Regen IV, and Regen V. Regen is available to Red Mages, White Mages and Scholars starting at level 21 for Red/White Mage and 18 for Scholar. Anyone with one of those Jobs as a Support Job is granted access to it at levels 42 and 36 respectively. Geomancers are also given two variants of the spell, known as Indi-Regen and Geo-Regen, which provide a sphere-like Regen effect to any party members within range.
The spell regenerates 5 HP every three seconds (commonly known as a tick). It will restore 125 HP over its 60 second duration. Regen II regenerates 12 HP every three seconds (240 HP healed), and Regen III will regenerate 20 HP every three seconds (400 HP healed).
Regen is available on White Magick 4 license for 35 LP after the events at the Tomb of Raithwall. The spell itself costs 1,900 gil and uses 16 MP each cast. Regen can be used to counter the Sap status effect.
In the International Zodiac Job System version, Regen's license is White Magick 6, available in Mt. Bur-Omisace for 2,400 gil. Regen can be used by three Job classes; White Mage, Red Mage, and Knight, although Knights must acquire the Esper Mateus license first.
Regen cannot be cast on players, but some enemies, most notably Caius Ballad, is able to bestow Regen on themselves. Regen cannot be dispelled.

Regen is learned by the White Mage class for 350 JP. It costs 8 MP to use and has a speed of 25. Regen can be used to counter the Poison status effect and vice versa. Regen does not work on the undead.
Regen is a buff that gives the targeted unit 1/10th of its max HP (rounded down). In addition to being a reaction ability for Hunters and Snipers, it is also a clan benefit that can be chosen before each battle upon earning the clan title "Journeymen", and there are also the stronger versions of this Clan Privilege called Regenra and Regenga.
It can be learned as an action ability by many characters, but often is not called Regen. Notable examples include Hurdy, who can learn the skill Angelsong from the Hurdy-Gurdy instrument that casts Regen on the target, and Adelle, who can use the skill Adelaide as a Heritor to cast Regen on the target as well.
Regen is a level 10 Enhancing Spell ability, exclusive to the White Mage class, and caps at level 100. It slowly restores HP of one ally over a period of time, can be used once per battle, and up to five times a day.
Regen appears as a White Magic spell and costs 2 AP to cast. Regen can be given to any character by having a Regen Tome in the character's inventory. The spell can only be purchased in Urbeth for 1000 gil. Wayfarer's Recovery ability has the same effect and costs 3 AP to use, but the player must upgrade the job twice to learn it.
Regen is a level 1 Time Magic. It restores 3% of one target's HP at the end of each turn. It costs 5 MP.
Regen comes in three levels of power. During a stage, Regen activates each time the player gets Good or better on a Trigger and restores a set amount of HP, the amount healed increasing depending on the level of power. Minwu, Rydia and Ashe can learn all three levels of Regen, while Onion Knight and Prishe learn the first two levels and Shantotto learns only the first level.
Regen appears in Chain of Memories and its remake Re:Chain of Memories as the ability of the Oogie Boogie card, in Birth By Sleep as an ability of the Cinderella D-Link, and Re:coded as an ability attached to several Keyblades. Regen gradually recovers Sora's HP, though in Chain of Memories and Re:Chain of Memories it has limited duration. Though Regen does not appear in 358/2 Days, Cura has the same effect of gradually healing Roxas.
