Cid: Oh, shut up and help me remodel the Red Mage (Final Fantasy III) page!
Please expand this article into a full one. This can be done by making a 2D and 3D weapon/armor table like here. Equipment stats do not belong here since the weapons/armor should link to their respectable list of Final Fantasy III weapon/armor page.. This request can be discussed on the associated discussion page.
The Red Mage(赤魔道士, Akamadōshi?) is a job class in Final Fantasy III gained from the Wind Crystal. In the opening FMV of the remake version, Ingus is depicted as a Red Mage. Red Mages use a wide assortment of weapons, and both Black and White Magic, but are unable to become true masters of either school of wizardry. Unlike the Red Mages in some other games, Red Mages in Final Fantasy III don't have Doublecast.
Like the original Final Fantasy, the Red Mage can use lower level White and Black Magic. This is mainly useful early on, since later the player will unlock more versatile mage classes. They have weak stat progression, and without the ability to doublecast like in Final Fantasy V, Red Mages are usually thought to be weak.
