AppearancesEdit

Final FantasyEdit

The Red Fang deals Fire-elemental damage to enemies. It is found in Earthgift Shrine, Hellfire Chasm (x2), and Lifespring Grotto (x4) and is won from Fire Hydra.

Final Fantasy IVEdit

The Red Fang deals Fire-elemental damage to enemies. Cecil uses a Red Fang in the opening sequence to kill a group of enemies. In the Super NES release, unlike most attack items, it was left in the game for the English release, but was renamed Fire Bomb. It is called Inferno in the PS release as well. It can be found in chests or dropped by Red Dragons, though by the time these enemies are fought, the item is largely useless. In the DS version the opening sequence is no longer scripted, but the player is given a Red Fang in their inventory.

Dissidia 012 Final FantasyEdit

The Red Fang returns as an attack usable by the Warrior of Light, functioning exactly as it did in the first game. It now costs 30 CP to equip, but only 90 AP to master.
