The Red Fang deals fire-elemental damage to enemies.

[edit] Final Fantasy IV

Red Fang in Final Fantasy IV

The Red Fang deals fire-elemental damage to enemies. Cecil uses a Red Fang in the opening sequence to kill a group of enemies. In the Super NES release, unlike most attack items it was left in the game for the English release, but was renamed Fire Bomb. It is called Inferno in the PS release as well. It can be found in chests or dropped by Red Dragons, though by the time these enemies are fought the item is largely useless.

[edit] Final Fantasy IV: The After Years

The Red Fang deals fire-elemental damage to all enemies.

[edit] Final Fantasy VII

The Fire Fang deals fire-elemental damage to all enemies, equivalent to a Fire2 spell. It can be bought in shops in Wutai.

[edit] Final Fantasy VIII

The Red Fang can be won from Hexadragons and Chimeras. The similarly named Inferno Fang can be won from Ruby Dragons and can be used to teach Quistis the Blue Magic Fire Breath. The Red Fang refines into Fire Ammo or twenty Firagas, while the Inferno Fang refines into 20 Flares or two Flare Stones. Neither item on its own can be used in battle.

[edit] Final Fantasy XII

The Red Fang deals fire-elemental damage to all enemies. They can be found in chests or dropped by enemies.

[edit] Dissidia Final Fantasy

Red Fang is not an item, but an attack usable by Warrior of Light. It shoots a single fireball at enemies.
