The Red Cap (レッドキャップ Reddo Kyappo) is a recurring Hat in the Final Fantasy series. The cap is a light helmet and often gives a variety of stat boosts, often related to Vitality and Stamina.

The Red Cap is a powerful light helmet. It gives +4 Strength, +3 Agility, +2 Stamina, and increases max HP by 25%.

The Red Cap is Edward's strongest helmet in the Advance release. It gives +10 Stamina and resists Fire. It is found in the Cave of Trials.
[edit] Final Fantasy IV: The After Years
The Red Cap is a piece of equipment found in the Depths of the True Moon. It can be worn by various members of the party.

The Red Cap is limited to only two, found in Kefka's Tower and Mt. Zozo. It gives +3 Speed, +2 Stamina, +4 Strength, and boosts max HP by 25%. Everyone but Umaro can equip it.

The Red Hat can be equipped by everyone but Steiner and Freya. It increases Fire damage but does not give any exceptional stat bonuses.

The Red Cap gives +3 Vitality and requires 25 LP to use.
