Final Fantasy XIIIEdit

"Ragnarok" plays as the background theme of the cinematic sequence at the end of Chapter 2 where Pulse transforms the main characters into l'Cie; and when the party confronts Galenth Dysley. It is the thirteenth track of the first disc of the Original Soundtrack.

"Ragnarok's" lyrics describe Ragnarok's role to destroy Cocoon and summon the Maker. These lyrics are a prominent element in the game, even being cited by Barthandelus under the guise of Serah Farron at Oerba.

LyricsEdit

LatinEdit
Ragnarok
De Dies Irae, l'Cie Pultis,
Tuum fatum sequeris. Tuum sanctuarium affligeas.
Ragnarok,
Dominus Ultionis venit.
Usque lux apparet, animae mortuae procusae sunt,
Per somnum aeternum, numen divinum dictus est,
Viator elamentabilis, Ragnarok.
Ragnarok,
De Dies Irae, l'Cie Pultis,
Tuum fatum sequeris. Tuum mundum dispertaris.
Ragnarok,
Rex Immiserabilis advenit.
Usque lux apparet, animae mortuae procusae sunt,
Per somnum aeternum, numen divinum dictus est,
Viator elamentabilis, Ragnarok.
EnglishEdit
Ragnarok
Come Day of Wrath, O Pulse l'Cie.
Embrace thy fate, thine home to burn.
Ragnarok
Deliver the Divine.
Ragnarok
Come Day of Wrath, O Pulse l'Cie
Cast thy light upon the souls of the departed.
That fallen souls might bare our plea... To hasten the Divine's return.
O piteous Wanderer, Ragnarok
Ragnarok.
Come Day of Wrath, O Pulse l'Cie.
Embrace thy fate, thine world to shatter.
Ragnarok
Descend, merciless lord.
Cast thy light upon the souls of the departed.
That fallen souls might bare our plea... To hasten the Divine's return.
O piteous Wanderer, Ragnarok
