Quina appears in Final Fantasy Artniks.
A young member of the mysterious qu, a race who devote themselves to the pursuit of gastronomical ingredients and rare delicacies. Quina joins Zidane in high hopes of being led to succulent delights along the path to culinary enlightenment.
Quina is a playable character who can be recruited as the First Time Reward for completing Mount Gulug, Part 2 in FF IX Core Dungeon. S/he could also be recruited as the First Time Reward during the Challenge Event Someone to Protect as the First Time Reward for completing the event's Alexandria Castle, Part 1 stage in Part 1.
Quina is a Gastronomist, whose combat role is Physical Support.
In this thing's original game, s/he was an annoyance that somehow proved of actual use to the player, albeit late. Stomping into Record Keeper very late has only upped the annoyance factor and decreased the utility of the series' most unusual Blue Mage. Unlike other Blue Mages, Quina doesn't back the party with any particularly strong offensive skills, which is only made worse by the fact that s/he is a tough mark to recruit from a Record rated over 90. Still, Quina has access to essential boosts and some debuffing attacks that could tilt battles in the party's favor.
His/her default Soul Break is Eat which at the expense of one Soul Gauge segment deals physical damage to one target with a small chance to KO it. The spear Needle Fork (IX) allows Quina to use Mighty Guard (IX) which at the expense of one Soul Gauge segment grants Protect and Shell on all allies.
S/he can equip accessories.
TCG Quina appears in the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game and is represented in Aqua-elemental cards. S/he is depicted in his/her Final Fantasy IX render, in his/her Yoshitaka Amano artwork and a promotional poster.
Quina appears on a Triple Triad card in the version available via Final Fantasy Portal App.
