Final Fantasy Record KeeperEdit

FFRK

FFRK Quina
A young member of the mysterious qu, a race who devote themselves to the pursuit of gastronomical ingredients and rare delicacies. Quina joins Zidane in high hopes of being led to succulent delights along the path to culinary enlightenment.
—Character profile.

Quina is a playable character who can be recruited as the First Time Reward for completing Mount Gulug, Part 2 in FF IX Core Dungeon. S/he could also be recruited as the First Time Reward during the Challenge Event Someone to Protect as the First Time Reward for completing the event's Alexandria Castle, Part 1 stage in Part 1.

Assessment

Quina is a Gastronomist, whose combat role is Physical Support.

In this thing's original game, s/he was an annoyance that somehow proved of actual use to the player, albeit late. Stomping into Record Keeper very late has only upped the annoyance factor and decreased the utility of the series' most unusual Blue Mage. Unlike other Blue Mages, Quina doesn't back the party with any particularly strong offensive skills, which is only made worse by the fact that s/he is a tough mark to recruit from a Record rated over 90. Still, Quina has access to essential boosts and some debuffing attacks that could tilt battles in the party's favor.
